Access. Integration. Any Time…All The Time. Tightly integrated with the Axxess Converged Communications Platforms, Voice Processing provides your business with automated attendant, Call Routing Announcements, robust voice mail and various call handling functions. Automated
attendant is a programmable feature that can be used to provide an
automated call answering service. Calls can transfer, forward, or directly
ring in to an automated attendant. This tireless, "virtual
employee" eliminates the consequences of your customers being in a
voice mail maze, such as lost sales and frustrated, disenchanted
customers. With Inter-Tel's Voice Processing, your customers get the
information they need, when they want it, 24 hours a day, seven
days-a-week.
Additional
functionality is realized with the deployment of Call Routing
Announcements. A Call Routing Announcement application can be used in
place of a playback device, which is especially useful for hunt group
announcements and overflow stations. When called, the Call Routing
Announcement application plays a recording and then hangs up.
Additionally, the Call Routing Announcement application can use digit
translation, which allows the caller to press a single digit for access to
a mailbox, a Fax-On-Demand function, or a station or hunt group that has
an associated mailbox or extension ID. Call Routing Announcements help
ensure that you communicate the "right" information to your
customers at the correct time.
The voice mail
application within Voice Processing handles calls by subscribers and
non-subscribers. Callers hear the main greeting, followed by a menu of
available options. And, for holidays and weekends, use the Scheduled
Time-Based Application Router (STAR) function for simplified programming
of alternate greetings. With voice mail, you can forward or transfer calls
directly to your mailbox, and picking up messages is easy anytime,
anywhere, with just a touchtone phone. You can also use remote message
notification to be alerted of new voice mail messages. This convenient
feature allows voice mail to deliver messages to up to 18 different phone
numbers, such as your cell phone, pager, home phone, etc.
Included with
Inter-Tel's Voice Processing are call handling functions that can be used
by all types of organizations, such as Record-a-Call and Station Message
Detail Recording (SMDR) information storage. For those times when you need
to have a record of your call, use the Record-a-Call feature. It enables
users to record an ongoing call and store it as a mailbox message for
future handling. And, if your organization has the need for call record
sorting, the SMDR information that is collected by Voice Processing can be
used in conjunction with call accounting software packages.
